Kayaking Skills Work Well on Land as well as at Sea....

Cornwall's rugged coastline is the perfect playground for people who enjoy kayaking and stand-up paddle-boarding. Both are growing in popularity with locals and visitors alike, including Joe Leach, who first started kayaking off the Isle of Man as a young teenager and is among a growing band of people who enjoy pushing their body and soul to the max, testing their wit and skills against all that nature and the open sea can throw at them. “Kayaking was a growing minority sport on the island at that time,” said Joe. “I enjoyed pursuing a less mainstream sport. My parents were supportive and backed me to go on a Duke of Edinburgh expedition to Norway. That was an inspirational trip and was pivotal in terms of my passion for the sport.”
